Cytogenetic investigations of domestic animals constitute a m atter of both biological and practical importance because of their genetic implication to breeding. It is highly desired that this field be thoroughly explored in order that geneticists and livestock breeders of the future may have a fundamental information upon which to build. In response to this request, cytogenetic studies have been instituted by many investigators working in both practical and scientific fields.
