Abstract

The objectives of any sire evaluation system is to maintain the greatest genetic progress by obtaining the most accurate genetic evaluation using the available resources. The system must predict genetic merit ith the fewest possible errors and provide for easy interpretation of results for monitoring all aspects of the industry.
