The objectives of this trial were to compare estimates of (co)variance components and genetic parameters for milk (MY), fat (FY) and protein yields (PY), and for fat (%F) and protein (%P) percentages, in single-trait and three-trait analyses by Bayesian inference. Heritability estimates for MY, FY, PY, %F e %P obtained in single-trait analyses were 0.26, 0.28, 0.25, 0.60 e 0.58, respectively, similar to the ones obtained in three-trait analyses. Genetic correlation among productions were positive, while among MY and percentages it was negative.
