Abstract
Heritabilities, phenotypic and genetic correlations between length of herd life (HL), length of productive life (PL), cumulative number of days between calving and first insemination (CFI) cumulative number of days between first and last insemination (SP), stature (cm) (STATURE) and udder depth (UDDER) were estimated. All traits except type showed very low heritabilities. Unfavorable, positive genetic correlations between CFI and HL or PL were found. Highly heritable type traits correlated with longevity variables could be used as auxiliary traits.
